Melodia lui Ed Sheeran – „Afterglow” – primul single după albumul din 2017, e un cadou pentru fani, în preajma sărbătorilor de iarnă, apărută în 21 decembrie 2020. Totodată, ea e menită ca o (nouă) declarație de dragoste pentru soția lui, cu care se vede trăind întreaga viață, clipă de clipă. Fără întrebări, fără ezitări.
